Larry has been handling personal injury cases in the five boroughs of the City of New York and Nassau and Suffolk Counties as a lawyer for the past twenty-five years. His experience in the field, however, started even earlier. As a college student he worked summers at Joseph Fallek, P.C. and accompanied his father to trials. While in law school, Larry clerked for a federal magistrate judge and researched and drafted memoranda on personal injury and social security cases. He also spent part of his law school years working for a law firm on the famous “Agent Orange” case, a “mass tort” action involving thousands of Vietnam veterans who claimed injuries as a result of exposure to the defoliant Agent Orange, which was dropped by plane onto the jungles of Vietnam during the fighting.
Larry has personally litigated hundreds of accident cases involving cars, trucks, buses, livery cabs and motorcycles, as well as a wide array of other cases including workplace injuries, sidewalk falls, lead paint poisoning and ceiling collapses. Larry has the ability to move cases through the court system rapidly and to obtain favorable results, often without the need for a trial. Larry recently settled a death case in mediation for 1.8 million dollars but he does not limit his practice to catastrophic injuries. He regularly handles cases involving orthopedic injuries like broken ankles, wrists, arms, legs, and herniated discs and tears of the ligaments in the shoulders and knees.
